The program requires at least 30 credits and 16 months to complete a course-based degree (3 academic semesters). The curriculum is designed with the expectation that the majority of students will graduate with a non-thesis course-based master’s degree. All students will complete a common set of core courses (18 credits) and a minimum of 12 credits of electives that define the specific chosen major — computational science, computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
